The Project
The Last Supertuskers
Documentary x Wildlife
Photographing the last supertuskers left on planet earth.
Step into the world of renowned wildlife photographer, Bjorn Persson, as he attempts to photograph Tee Jay, one of the last remaining supertusker elephants on earth.

The Result
Working with a skeleton crew of just three, we followed wildlife photographer Björn Persson deep into the wilds of Amboseli, Kenya, on his search for one of Africa’s last remaining supertusker elephants - the elusive Tee Jay.
The production required an extended period of pre-production, meticulously planning access across the region’s national parks and conservancies and working closely with local teams to give us the best possible opportunity to find and photograph these extraordinary animals.
Supported by local Maasai guides and a Nairobi-based fixer, we navigated the logistical challenges of bringing cinema and drone equipment into some incredibly remote locations. But once filming began, much was beyond our control. Weather, changing conditions and the constant movement of the elephants dictated each day as we tracked Tee Jay across a vast landscape - never knowing whether we would ultimately find him.
This project is a pitch film for a wider broadcast documentary series.
